Privacy

What we keep.
And what we don't.

The editor runs in your browser. Your documents are never sent to us · there is no endpoint to send them to.

Last updated 24 August 2026

The editor itself

@matrajs/core makes no network requests. No telemetry, no phone-home, no usage beacon, no licence check. Your document never leaves the page it is typed on, and that is a property of the code rather than a promise about our intentions.

What an account stores

An email address and a password hash. Nothing else is required to use Matra.

The website

Plausible, self-hosted, counts page views. No cookies, no cross-site identifier, no profile of you. Server logs keep an IP address for 14 days to stop abuse, then drop it.

Who else sees anything

  • Our hosting provider · serves this page.

Subscriptions are invoiced directly and paid by bank transfer, so there is no card processor in the picture and no card number exists to lose. If that changes we will name the processor here before it handles anything of yours, rather than after.

No advertising network, no data broker, and no model trained on anything of yours.

Your rights

Ask what we hold, correct it, export it, or have it erased: privacy@matrajs.com. We answer within 30 days. Deleting your account removes the record, not just its label.
